Taffy Apple Salad
[offsite] Safeway was carrying this delicious taffy apple salad in their deli, but they stopped a week ago, so I went searching for one I could make myself. It's not exactly the same but it will do.

I used 2/3c sugar, apple cider vinegar, 12oz cool whip, 3c marshmallows, 1/2c hazelnuts instead of peanuts, 6 unpeeled apples and no cherries. Safeway's version used almonds. Play around with it, it makes a good potluck dish too.
