As I mentioned earlier, science fiction and/or fantasy occupies the top spot on my favorite
reading material list. My all-time favorite science fiction author would be Robert A. Heinlein. I own every book he
ever wrote, and I've read most of them. Piers Anthony holds the top spot in the fantasy area,
with his Xanth series as well as the Apprentice Adept series which is half science fiction and
half fantasy, therefore allowing me to enjoy both pleasures simultaneously.
Another of my favorite series (did I mention I like series books?) is Roger Zelazny's Amber, which began as a trilogy and ended up being two,
five-volume series. The first revolves around Corwin and the second involves his son Merlin.
It is my opinion that the first three volumes are by far the best, but even so I joined the
ranks of fans who eagerly awaited the appearance of each successive volume.
